How It Works
Our Process
Eight straightforward steps from first call to move-in day. We believe in a transparent process with no surprises.
Consultation
We start with a conversation — by phone or in person. Tell us about your lot, your vision, and what you're hoping to spend. There's no pitch and no obligation. Just a real conversation with the people who will build your cabin.
- Discuss your lot and site access
- Review delivery requirements
- Talk through floor plan ideas
- Set honest budget expectations
Planning & Design
We develop a custom floor plan and design package based on your brief. This includes layouts, elevations, and a preliminary finish list. You'll review and revise until it's right — we don't move forward until you're fully satisfied.
- Custom floor plan development
- Exterior elevation drawings
- Preliminary finish selections
- Revisions included until approved
Reserve Build Slot
When you're happy with the design, a deposit reserves your position in our build schedule. We limit the number of projects we accept each season — this step secures your place and confirms your production window.
- Deposit to secure build position
- Formal construction agreement
- Confirmed start and delivery window
- Final specification sign-off
Engineering
Depending on your municipality and design, engineering stamps may be required for the structure, foundation, or both. We coordinate this as needed and provide the documentation required for your building permit.
- Structural engineering (where required)
- Foundation engineering (if applicable)
- Permit documentation support
- Coordination with your local authority
Construction
Your cabin is built in our Saskatchewan facility by our own crew. We don't subcontract the work — the same hands that start your cabin finish it. You'll receive regular progress updates, and site visits are welcome by appointment.
- Built in our covered facility
- Our own crew throughout
- Regular progress updates
- Site visits welcome by appointment
Delivery
When your cabin is complete, we coordinate transport to your lot using experienced RTM haulers. A crane is typically required for placement. We work with you and your site contractor to make delivery day go smoothly.
- Professional RTM transport
- Crane and placement coordination
- Delivery window confirmed in advance
- On-site supervision available
Foundation Set
Once the cabin is placed on its foundation, your site contractor handles blocking, levelling, connections, and exterior finishing. We provide guidance on what's needed and are available to answer questions during the final hookup phase.
- Cabin set and levelled on foundation
- Utility connections by local trades
- Skirting and exterior site finishing
- We're available for questions
Move In
Interior finishing, furniture, and the first weekend on the lake. We hand over full documentation including your warranty, maintenance guide, and as-built drawings. Your cabin is built to last — we want to make sure you know how to care for it.
- Handover walk-through
- Care and maintenance guide
- Warranty documentation
- As-built drawings provided
